Gumball™ is a fast, strategic word card game where every turn can change the game. Spell words, play action cards, and trigger powerful bonuses as you race to empty your hand!

HOW TO PLAY

DEAL

Shuffle and deal 10 cards to each player, then place the rest as a draw pile. Inside the box are 112 cards: 100 letter cards in 5 colors, 6 wildcards, and 6 Give & Take cards.

DRAW

Every turn starts by drawing 1 card from the pile. Then choose how you want to play your turn.

PLAY

Play a word of at least 3 letters using the cards in your hand, with wildcards standing in for any letter or color you need. If you cannot or choose not to make a word, draw 1 more card and end your turn.

BOOST

Spell a 5+ letter word in all one color or across all 5 colors to trigger a boost and make your opponents draw extra cards. Solid words make opponents draw 2, and rainbow words make them draw 1.

SWAP

Use a Give & Take card to swap unwanted letters with an opponent without changing either hand size. If you get stuck with 5 or fewer cards, you can also use your one-time Redraw to discard your entire hand for 5 new cards.

WIN

Win by emptying your hand with a valid word, or by spelling “GUMBALL” on your turn for an instant victory.
